Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is our host
university, but we have agreements with the 21 different colleges listed below
that allow enrollment in our program. When you enroll at one of our
crosstown colleges, you will attend your regular classes there, while you
attend your AFROTC classes here at RPI. This helps keep your options wide
open, allowing you to choose the school that is right for you. As a cross-town cadet you are
required to come to AFROTC events while your school is in session, as some schools differ
in schedule to RPI.
For example: if you attend or plan on attending
Siena College (located in Latham, NY), you would take Air Force ROTC classes at
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (located in Troy, NY). Our crosstown
colleges can sometimes change, so it’s best to double-check with the Unit
Admissions Officer at afrotc@rpi.edu before you begin the admissions process.
